Prenatal Yoga is a yoga class for women who are embarking on the journey of pregnancy into motherhood. Stepping into a community with other women to understand, learn and explore their body as it prepares to bring baby earth side, cultivate an experience of mind-body connection and find support along the way.
Adaptive Yoga with Step One Fitness entails one-on-one yoga for individuals that may require more assistance with their practice. Specialized training has been obtained working with those with neurological and neuromuscular conditions.
Planning a girl's night, birthday party or special occasion and would like to bring the mind-body connection to your next gathering? This is for those looking for an intimate small group environment of meditation, intention, postures and ultimate relaxation.
There is no experience required for this yoga class! Before coming to class, feel free to enjoy a small snack and drink plenty of fluids. Our bodies are creating human life, what a wonderful and beautiful adventure! That means doing what you and your body need, just try not to overindulge prior to coming!
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. You may find it better to dress in layers as our internal temperature can fluctuate throughout a class.
Bring a mat, blanket and water. Mats, blocks, blankets and bolsters are provided for your convenience.
Please arrive to class 10-15 minutes early. Use the restroom, gather your props (assisted devices) and catch up with your fellow mamas!
